Hi there! Chuck here ...
I've been working on my blaster to accompany my ESB Stormtrooper to join the 501st (that isn't done yet either) for a while now, using the iambubby templates from on here At this stage, I've only got the barrel drilled out, the scope 90% done, and the barrel interior done (I'm rigging up a series of LEDs to simulate blaster flash).
I'll focus on the scope and barrel interior for now ... seeing as they're the only relatively done bits, and drilled PVC pipe looks like, well, drilled PVC pipe. Also, for the detail parts like the magazine, mag housing, etc. I'm using High Impact Acrylic plastic ... if anyone could give me some tips to make working with it a bit easier, I would appreciate it, 'cause that's my real sticking point for this build thus far.
The scope fairly early on in production:
The backlighting tig I've got for the reticle (I'm trying to get a decent screenshot of a SW: Battlefront style targeting reticle to make one):
The lenses, made from 2mm perspex heated in the oven and moulded over some marbles:
And where I'm up to with the scope:
This is the barrel interior lighting rig I've made up:
And in comparison to the first attempt, which was rather dodgy:

Thanks mate Sorry I haven't updated this ... I had uni, and I've been working flat out on my armour for the past ever, so I haven't had much of a chance to work on my blaster However, the armour is pretty much done, so I should have something to post soon (fingers crossed)!

Hey mate The templates for the scope can be found on here; it's in the iambubby templates, with the file name e-11-scope-1. You may need to be a little creative; I used PVC offcuts, some perspex, and a bit of bog filler to get mine to the right shape. Good luck!
